Frequently asked questions

What eyelash growth medications can I get through Amazon Clinic?
Bimatoprost (Latisse), a serum applied to the base of the eyelashes, is the only prescription treatment approved for eyelash growth.

Please note: This information is for general reference only. Your clinician will review your symptoms and health history to determine which (if any) eyelash treatments are medically appropriate.
What are the possible side effects of bimatoprost (Latisse)?
The most common side effects of bimatoprost (Latisse) are itching and redness, reported in approximately 4% of clinical trial patients. If you have light-colored eyes, there's a small chance (less than 4%) that bimatoprost may permanently darken the colored part of your eye (iris). There's also a small chance that bimatoprost will darken your eyelids, which may be reversible. You can reduce this risk by using the medication as directed. Avoid getting this medication in your eye or on your eyelid.
Is bimatoprost (Latisse) covered by insurance?
Probably not. Most insurance plans won't cover the cost of bimatoprost (Latisse).
How much does bimatoprost (Latisse) cost?
A 3mL bottle of bimatoprost (Latisse) lasts about one month when used daily. The generic price for a 3mL bottle may range from $30 to $60 with a prescription discount card. (Please note that pricing isn't guaranteed.)
