Frequently asked questions

What prescriptions can I get renewed?
Your clinician may renew prescriptions for levothyroxine (Synthroid, Tirosint, Levoxyl, Levothroid, Unithroid) and liothyronine (Cytomel, Triostat). Certain providers can also prescribe natural thyroid hormones (dessicated thyroid extract) like Armour Thyroid, Nature Thyroid, and NP Thyroid.

How can I prepare for my visit?
If you need more than a 30-day supply of medication, you'll need to provide thyroid test results (called "thyroid labs" or "thyroid panels") from the past 12 months. Thyroid labs measure levels of thyroid-stimulating hormone (TSH), free thyroid hormones such as thyroxine (free T4), and triiodothyronine (T3).

If your clinician has concerns about your lab results, they may not renew your prescription.
Can I get my thyroid levels tested through Amazon Clinic?
No. Thyroid level testing isn't available through Amazon Clinic at this time.
